Ace Four Star 120: Mike Colin, Builder

Squadron member Mike Colin is building an Sig Four Star 120. Photos of his progress are presented below. Mike says that he's planning on using an Evolution 100 two-stroke engine with a JR receiver on this plane.  Mike reported "I have used the Evolution 46 and 61engines on other planes and I like their performance and reliability".   He's involved now in gluing more parts on the fuselage and getting ready to build the turtle deck on the top front deck and rear deck. He hasn't decided yet on .any color scheme or theme yet. Good building Mike and we look forward to its' first flight.

Float Plane Retrieval Boat: Wayne Oyler, Builder / Rebuilder

Squadron member Wayne Oyler is building a float plane retrieval boat from spare parts.  Photos of the project are below.  As you can see it is made from a set of home made floats, Dubro fiber landing gear, and a electric motor and ESC from a Sig Kadet EP-42.  Receiver, servo and Transmitter are from and old boat.

Also ready to test fly he has repaired his Flying Trainer with new covering and changed it to a tail dragger.  A new twist is ready to test fly and a Electra Fly XPD-8 Flying wing.
