49th Squadron "Club Day" Fly-In Photos (July 12, 2003)

This was a non-sanctioned event simply to bring out whatever aircraft you liked and enjoy the airfield and the company of Squadron members and other club members. All enjoyed a day of flying and commeraderie. The weather was a typical of a midwest summer----hot and humid but just enough breeze to cool everyone off. The 49th Squadron provided the hot dogs, smoked Polish sausage, chips, and iced soda for anyone who wanted it. Another great event...hope you'll come for our Jumbo Jamboree August 23 or our fall Club Day..

A great way to start the day as a full-size B-17G flew over the field. EAA was having their fly-in at nea by Lees Summit Airport
