Watkin Field 2004 Invitational Fly-In

On June 12, 2004 Bill Sparks who manages a private field in Raymore, MO. had again invited the 49th Squadron to come to the field and fly with the Watkins Field group. Similar to this same invitational last October, it was a beautiful day. A total of 19 pilots showed up between the two groups. Bill also fed the group with great grilled smoked sausage and hot dogs, chips, dessert. It was a great day. Below are some of the photos taken of this event. On behalf of the Squadron...thank you Bill Sparks and thank you Charles and Mary Jane Watkins!.

What a beautiful day it was! Watkins Field is a great place to fly. A panoramic view of this privately run airfield.

Good company, good airplanes, good food, and great weather. Just doesn't get any better than this!
